The Artist: Allan Morgan
Allan Morgan graduated in Fine Art from Coventry University, and is a full time artist based in Herefordshire. His professional career has focused mainly on landscape painting, although he has also enjoyed considerable success as an illustrator. The basis of his inspiration is in the light, colour and atmosphere of landscape, influenced by the Pre-Raphaelites, Fauvists and the Impressionists. Having spent many years living near the coast, Allan regularly returns to this subject matter in much of his work. He has exhibited extensively throughout the UK, and his work is collected in Canada and France.
